ysilme here: I wasted spent an hour or two today with looking for old fanfic favourites from the pre-AO3-times with the intention to make ebooks of them for re-reading. Of course, most of the archives where the fic is stored are not conversion-friendly, so I had to edit html files and whatnot... but it was a fun trip down memory lane, too. I also wrote quite a bit, about 700 words of meta and around 300 words for a crazy crack crossover idea (Witcher/Tolkien/Star Trek) I don't know I can pull off. But it's such fun to dabble with the idea that I don't care. ^^

sylvanwitch here: A day may come when the distraction of a writer fails, and she will work on her languishing original projects: But it is not this day! This day, I wrote 235 words of story/character study from Juliet Higgins' POV. (Yes, that's another character from Magnum PI. What? Stop laughing!) I'm doomed.

And ha, back to Magnum (though I DO love this Higgins)

I didn't get started until after midnight so not much, 336 words on a Prodigal Son trapped fic

And hey, you got some words in! I know that's a low count for you, but it beats my count by a lot. Lol! :-)

It is, it's one of my two main fandoms although hardly anyone else writes it these days. If I want new stories I have to write them myself, lol! ave you seen the more recent (and very x-rated) Back Stage Pass stories? Only the first two have have translated into English sadly, but they're still worth a look.

Is there anyplace you can actually buy the paperbacks? (I'm old-fashioned that way.) If not, can you recommend a place to read them? (The X-rated is a feature, not a bug for me--lol!)

I fell off the wagon for a bit.

I have half a page of notes in an exercise book dated 23/02/2020, but then my brain rebelled and refused to word until the 26th, when I scrawled out a paragraph on the bottom of the printed out story I'm currently wrestling with. That night I decided that if writing was not bringing me joy, I wasn't going to force it.

Then, last night a story for the spy challenge at fan_flashworks formed in my brain and I wrote a rough draft of 130~ words. This morning I'm wrangling it into shape and will hopefully send it off to beta.
