ysilme here: about 430 words for a blog post so far, plus lots of plotting and idea-noting for my assignment. There wasn't time to write anything down between errands, shopping, and other non-writing demands. But at least all parcels are wrapped, it's a first that I'm done so early. *g*

sylvanwitch here: I'm finally into the better essays, so they go a little faster, but even so, they take a lot of focus and energy. Today was pretty productive in other ways, too, but I did find time to write 1060 on the novel.

Dec 21st - 989 words, 4 double drabbles and I finished a fic I started a few days ago.

Knitting - 62 rows on the first of a pair of arm warmers for my neighbour.

I've been writing 4 Torchwood drabbles every Monday for years, for the new weekly drabble prompt. I like to challenge myself, and coming up with 4 different ideas for the same prompt is a fun way of doing it. =)

[had tribulations with poached eggs tonight - thats the one thing i know for sure ]

[day 20 had a 250 word count, day 21 (happy peak dark season) had a 500 word count ]

[idk if ill be making the 15k target, but ive just had a poor-production year creatively (the fanart/fanfic fields are barren, with naught but puddles to be found within) and im happy with Whatever i get. a one-month burst of Writing!! is better than not trying ]

Honestly, I've said this before, and I'm sure I'll keep saying it: Anyone producing ANYthing creative in this year of coronavirus and despair is a gods-blessed hero and deserves laurels and plaudits. So, consider yourself crowned with laurel and showered in the cheers of an appreciative audience. :-)

Check-in: I wrote some sentences that I don't like all that much. I was distracted and stuck and stuck and distracted, and after a while I made myself write some sentences down to see if that helped. It didn't, and then I decided whatever, vacation days don't have to be productive, we'll try again tomorrow.

Vacation days DON'T have to be productive--you are so right! Enjoy your time off and don't let the words be an obligation and a pressure. You've earned the chance to fluff it for a few days. ;-)

Day 21: 2,004 nano words! (Also probably 3-4k words on the illicit story that isn't happening, nope.) I got to the end of the scene, after weeks!! They did start talking, but I let them get it out, lol, and now the scene is over. Here's hoping the next one goes more smoothly~

Dec 21 - 315ish words -- a fun drabble-poem inspired by a discord conversation, written, polished and posted, and 200 words on the postcard piece, which I am quite happy with. Thank you for wishing me brains! I also got to see the conjunction, which was lovely.
