ysilme here: some plotting, some jotting down of notes, and an alibi sentence or two on the assignment. Edit: additional 540 words on the first, very rough, draft for the assignment. Somebody left the bag of plotbunnies open. XD

sylvanwitch here: I am pleased to report that with the exception of two essays that have not yet been handed in, I am DONE grading for the duration of my holiday break. YAY! Now for cleaning, baking, and wrapping gifts. *sighs* I also added 945 words to the novel. Yay!

Today I wrote almost 2k for a single-fandom secret santa. :) It'll be a treat for the recipient, and it was really fun to write. (Another one where I've kept the prompt in the back of my head for a while, and then finally had something click so that I could start it/write it in full.)

23rd: Well, I rewrote the beginning of my yuletreat and sent it to beta, but I'm feeling bad for not having at least read it all the way through before sending it. (It was either get it to beta at a convenient time or fix it up first, which could have taken all day.) I hope it's not too much of a mess! *goes to hide on my exercise machine*

Checking in for Days 20 and 21, with words written for the daily talking posts, trying to do some work clearing tabs, leaving comments for an opened fic exchange, and working in getting my Grief queue up. It's the same thing, but it's also kind of good to have all of those things to do and be able to do.

There is a lot to be said for the steady accretion of productive moments, no matter what you're doing, productivity-wise, and you are DEFINITELY setting 'em up and knocking 'em down, as the saying goes. Great work! :-)

Today I missed my morning writing time AND my lunch writing time, but after work I took the notebook away somewhere quiet and wrote a half page. I was still stuck on the section I was working on yesterday, so I jumped to a section of the story I haven't written yet. (The beginning. Which I didn't really have ideas for, but I sat there and clicked my pen until I came up with something. What I have now isn't a great start, but I can build upon it, so it'll do.)
