ysilme here: 800 new words for me for the exchange WIP. I'll likely discard most of these at some later point, but they're of the kind that need to be written so the story will appear. Do you know this saying about how to sculpt an elephant? Just take a block of stone and chip away all parts that don't belong to the elephant. It feels just like this with my story. /O\sylvanwitch here: I added 586 v. dark words to the f-or-d story. I wasn't going to write this part at all; I was going to elide the details. But for whatever reason, the scene is coming to me in stark and immediate detail, so I guess that's what I'm writing. (It's worth noting, there's absolutely nothing remotely titillating about it. I really was hoping to just skip this part. *sighs*) Anyway, apparently this story Has Important Things to Say, which is too bad because I'd really rather write something else.

264 words today. I have a few scenes in this draft that need to be dream sequences but all of which currently just live in the draft as [INSERT DREAM HERE]. This was a scene that came soon after one of those and I might possibly be almost ready to build backwards and write the dream sequence after I've written the reaction to it.
